FAQ

Common questions.

The questions we hear most from patients, attorneys, and insurers. If yours isn't here, call us — intake is free and we'll give you a straight answer.

Do I need a referral to be seen?+

No. Patients, attorneys, insurers, and treating providers can all initiate a request. No practitioner order is required for an independent evaluation.

How soon after an accident should I be assessed?+

As soon as possible, ideally within 24–72 hours. Whiplash and soft-tissue injuries often peak days after impact, and an early record protects both your health and your claim.

How quickly can I get an appointment?+

Most patients are scheduled within 48 hours. Rush and same-day appointments are available for urgent or deadline-driven cases.

What injuries do you assess?+

Whiplash and neck injury, back and spinal injury, concussion and mild traumatic brain injury, shoulder, knee and joint injury, soft-tissue damage, and workplace or fall-related trauma.

How does billing work?+

Auto cases are typically billed to PIP, MedPay, or liability coverage. We also accept letters of protection from attorneys, and self-pay pricing is quoted in writing before your visit.

What happens at the first visit?+

A board-certified health practitioner takes a detailed history, performs a full musculoskeletal and neurological examination, orders imaging where indicated, and gives you a written plan.

When will my report be ready?+

Narrative reports are typically delivered within seven business days of the assessment and any outstanding imaging. Expedited turnaround is available.

Will my report hold up in court?+

Our reports follow AMA Guides 6th Edition standards and are prepared by practitioners who regularly provide expert testimony.

Do you offer telehealth?+

The initial assessment is in person. Follow-ups, records review, results discussion, and consultations can be handled by secure telehealth for Texas and Florida residents.

Where are you located?+

Our clinic is at 1400 N Coit Rd #302, McKinney, TX 75071, with additional service areas across Texas and Florida. See our locations page for the full list.

What should I bring?+

Photo ID, insurance or claim details, a list of medications, and any prior imaging or records related to the incident.

Can I bring someone with me?+

Yes. You may bring a family member, interpreter, or observer to your appointment, including to an independent medical examination.
